Hi flower friends, Thank you so much for visiting and taking the time to learn more about us. My name is Nikita, and I am the founder and owner of Westwind Floral Acres. Farming was never part of my original plan. For most of my life, I dreamed of becoming a computer science engineer. But after having two young boys, I realized that the fast-paced world of AI and technology was not the life I wanted for my family. I decided to stay home with my children and started growing our own vegetables. Along the way, I planted a few flowers and before I knew it, the flowers completely took over my garden. What started as a simple hobby quickly became a passion. We moved to the countryside to have more space to grow, create a peaceful homestead, and give our boys the joy of raising chickens and ducks. But once again, the flowers took over in the best possible way.

Over the years, I discovered how much I love designing with flowers. Seeing people’s reactions to my work gave me the confidence to keep creating, and soon I began receiving wedding orders. Now I find myself deeply in love with the wedding industry, where I get to create floral art that helps bring each couple’s dream day to life.
I have been growing flowers for over 6 years and officially started Westwind Floral Acres 3 years ago. The love and support people have shown toward my flowers and designs has made this journey even more special and meaningful than I ever imagined.
This summer, after many requests from customers, we are excited to open our very first farm stand. We are also happy to offer flower subscriptions and delivery options for those who want fresh, locally grown flowers delivered right to their doorstep.
Westwind Floral Acres is built on creativity, family, and a love for growing beautiful things. We are so grateful to have you here and cannot wait to share another season of flowers with you.
And of course, I cannot talk about this journey without mentioning my husband, Dennis. He is my better half, and without his support, this adventure would not have been possible.
While he may not be the world’s greatest cameraman, he is definitely the best flower model around. If you follow us on social media, you will often see him proudly holding bouquets and showcasing my flowers. Behind the scenes, Dennis is always helping whether it’s setting up at events and markets, making deliveries, or jumping in wherever he is needed.
Westwind Floral Acres truly is a family dream, and I am so grateful to have him by my side through it all.
